Mr. Mhlanga feels aggrieved by the fact that the said tabloid has for three (3) weekends in a row published biased stories against his; private, public life and personal relationship leading to much complaints and lack of confidence in him among his counterparts.
He alleges that the newspaper’s issue of (17/08/2014) carried a story on his personal relationship in which there were;
“a) Complaints from an anonymous family relative to the mother of my new born, which were false, insulting & misleading to my parenthood and business persona.
b) References to my business acquaintances (including company & individual names) with which I share high end business currently under discussion at national government level and have signed NDAs against.
c) Publication of a personal email (including my email address, time, date & recipients detail) the tabloid goes on to report of NOT having spoken to the email’s recipient but happen to be in possession of our personal communication (email) published it, as well as a written account of our personal relationship.”
Mr. Mhlanga further claims that he has tried to talk to the author of the story but his efforts have come to nought.
He believes that the story was cruel, not true, and too personal. He says he has not committed a crime but has had his personal & business integrity severely tarnished.
