Masvingo councillor Daniel Mberikunashe filed a complaint over a story carried by NewsDay on 24 March 2015 headlined: “UMDC Collapses”.
Councillor Mberikunashe is aggrieved as he states that he was not given the right of reply before publication and that the information provided in the story is false and misleading

The Media Complaints Committee has written to NewsDay and the newspaper is yet to file its response on the matter.
